About SAPCC
Overview
State Action Plans on Climate Change are State- and UT-level policy frameworks designed around local climate risks, ecosystems, economies and development priorities. They connect climate action with sectoral programmes and define the responsibilities, resources and monitoring arrangements needed for implementation.
SAPCCs are revised as climate science, policies and development priorities evolve, strengthening mitigation, adaptation and protection of vulnerable communities.
