SAPCC Overview
Madhya Pradesh's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 8 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 11 departments and ₹11000 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2022 and approved on Oct 2022, the plan is valid until 2027. The SAPCC addresses Madhya Pradesh's specific climate vulnerabilities across 4 climate zones covering 308,252 km² with 55 districts.
