SAPCC Overview
Meghalaya's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v1.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 6 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 7 departments and ₹2200 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2018. The SAPCC addresses Meghalaya's specific climate vulnerabilities across 3 climate zones covering 22,429 km² with 12 districts.
