SAPCC Overview

Kerala's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 8 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 10 departments and ₹10000 crore in budget allocation.

Submitted in 2023 and approved on May 2023, the plan is valid until 2028. The SAPCC addresses Kerala's specific climate vulnerabilities across 3 climate zones covering 38,863 km² with 14 districts.
