SAPCC Overview
Chhattisgarh's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 8 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 10 departments and ₹9500 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2023 and approved on Dec 2023, the plan is valid until 2028. The SAPCC addresses Chhattisgarh's specific climate vulnerabilities across 3 climate zones covering 135,192 km² with 33 districts.
