SAPCC Overview
Goa's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 6 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 6 departments and ₹2000 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2022 and approved on Aug 2022, the plan is valid until 2027. The SAPCC addresses Goa's specific climate vulnerabilities across 2 climate zones covering 3,702 km² with 2 districts.
