SAPCC Overview
Odisha's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the state. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 8 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 10 departments and ₹10500 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2023 and approved on Aug 2023, the plan is valid until 2028. The SAPCC addresses Odisha's specific climate vulnerabilities across 4 climate zones covering 155,707 km² with 30 districts.
