SAPCC Overview
Tamil Nadu's Tamil Nadu SAPCC v1.0 was prepared under the Department of Environment (DoE), Government of Tamil Nadu — designated as the Nodal Department for climate change (PDF p.224) — with the proposed State Climate Change Cell as nodal technical body. The plan covers 7 focus areas per PDF p.224: Sustainable Agriculture and allied sectors; Water Resources; Forest and Biodiversity; Coastal Area Management; Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Solar Mission; Sustainable Habitat; and Knowledge Management — within Vision 2023.
