SAPCC Overview
Delhi's State Action Plan on Climate Change (v2.0) provides the strategic framework for climate action across the union territory. Coordinated by Department of Environment & Climate Change, it aligns with 6 of the 9 NAPCC national missions, mobilising 8 departments and ₹8500 crore in budget allocation.
Submitted in 2023 and approved on Jul 2023, the plan is valid until 2028. The SAPCC addresses Delhi's specific climate vulnerabilities across 2 climate zones covering 1,484 km² with 11 districts.
